ABOUT THE REUNION
For our 2027 family reunion, we chose Solvang as a special way to celebrate and remember our family heritage. Known as “Little Denmark,” Solvang was founded by Danish immigrants in 1911 and still embraces its Danish roots through its charming windmills, half-timbered buildings, bakeries, and traditional Danish culture. We can’t think of a more fitting and fun place to come together, make new memories, and honor where our family came from!
TRANSPORTATION
Getting to Solvang:
Guests may drive directly to Hotel Corque in downtown Solvang, with complimentary hotel parking available. For those flying, Santa Barbara Airport (SBA) is the closest and most convenient commercial airport, approximately 45 minutes from the hotel by car. Rental cars, rideshare services, and advance-reservation shuttle transportation are available. Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) is another option for guests who prefer a greater selection of flights, approximately 2½–3 hours from Solvang depending on traffic.
